A team of employees once noticed they consistently went above and beyond their peers, so they proudly coined themselves “Team HorsePower.” Then, when Craig Medley branched out to start his own company, he carried that same spirit of accountability, work ethic, and pride forward. From that legacy, THP—Team HorsePower—was born.
THP Mechanical is far from an ordinary MEP contractor. While many companies keep their eyes on the bottom line, THP’s true focus is on its people. Our Team
Meet some of the trusted employees on our team at THP Mechanical
Owner/President
Craig has 16 years of experience in the mechanical industry, as well as 13 years as a general contractor. He oversees the project teams from financial aspects to scheduling and coordination of resources to ensure the client receives the project on time and within budget.
Operations Manager
Kevin has over 34 years of experience in the mechanical industry. He has held many positions over the years, including onsite foreman, sheet metal shop foreman, overseeing duct construction, steel fabrication, architectural fabrication, MEP coordinator, Operations Manager, detailer and the chair of our safety committee.
Estimator/Project Manager
Stacy has over 11 years of experience estimating and managing projects. She specializes in controls and unit replacement projects. Her attention to detail and hands on approach ensures her projects run smoothly and meet the needs of the customer.
Project Manager
Katie has over 10 years of project management experience, focusing on new construction and tenant improvements. She believes in collaboration with all members of the project team to ensure a successful project. With her problem-solving attitude, you can be sure she will help your project be on time and within budget.
Controller
Ralph has 26 years of experience as a controller in the construction industry. He oversees all facets of our accounting department. Ralph helps keep our business in top shape to meet all of our financial needs.
Labor Leader
Brent has over 33 years of experience in the mechanical industry. He oversees all labor for construction and service activities. He brings extensive MEP knowledge including Sheetmetal installation, refrigeration systems, direct digital controls, pneumatic controls, air and water testing and balance, Title 24 compliance, and commissioning to all our projects.
Service Plumbing Foreman
Ben worked in the plumbing industry for over 26 years. His experience includes working on new construction projects and servicing buildings, both residential and commercial. His skillset includes backflow certification and repairs, confined space work, ejection pump systems, domestic water systems and is well versed in the safety aspect of these work requirements.
Service Manager
Ryan has 14 years of experience in the mechanical industry. He has a wide range of experience, specializing in service, preventative maintenance, unit retrofits and pneumatic controls. He has worked in many types of facilities including highly technical and sensitive environments such as data room centers, chiller & boiler plants, and industrial buildings.
General Foreman
Kevin has worked in the mechanical contracting industry for over 21 years. With his vast involvement in the MEP trades, including controls, air and water balance, equipment installation, Title 24 and commissioning, you can be assured he will help your project meet all of its requirements in an efficient manner.
Operations Supervisor
Travis has more than 14 years of experience in the general construction and mechanical industries. He coordinates day to day project needs including equipment and material deliveries as well as tooling. He also manages the company fleet and serves on the safety committee and is working on becoming a certified safety trainer. His communication and collaboration skills ensure our projects have the items they need on time.
Director of Growth
Kelly Timbrook leads growth initiatives at THP, bringing over 15 years of experience with fast-paced, high-growth companies — including the past seven years in the Sacramento market. As a key contributor to organizations recognized on Sacramento’s Fastest Growing Companies list for four consecutive years, Kelly understands how to drive sustainable growth through strategic branding, scalable operations, strong team collaboration, and a sharp focus on client satisfaction.
